The Sporting JAX Gainbridge Super League stars clinch a home playoff spot in their inaugural season

Sporting Club Jacksonville’s women’s team has officially clinched a home playoff spot in the first round of the 2026 Gainbridge Super League Playoffs following Sporting Jax’s win against DC Power FC Wednesday night.

Just 31 days after clinching the first spot in the 2026 Playoffs, Sporting JAX has now secured home-field advantage in the opening round—adding another chapter to a historic season. The club becomes the first expansion team in Gainbridge Super League history to both reach the postseason and guarantee a home advantage in the first round, cementing its place in the league’s record books.

The team has displayed their dominance with a record of 12-3-2 in their last 17 games starting on Nov. 8, and have held a consistent spot at the top of the table since Dec. 20.

Despite the post-season quickly approaching, Sporting Jax remains focused on the remainder of the regular season and holding their No. 1 place in the table.
