The Corner at Debs Store was selected by Sporting JAX as their non-profit of choice for the 2025/26 season Gainbridge Savings Tracker program
Sporting Club Jacksonville announced today a $9,900 donation to The Corner at Debs Store in addition to naming them as their Gainbridge Super League Savings Tracker recipient for the 2025/26 season.
The Gainbridge Savings Tracker was born during the 2025/26 season when Gainbridge℠ and U.S. Women’s National Team legend Briana Scurry teamed up and committed to make a $99 donation for every save that a goalkeeper made in a match. During the previous season, 715 saves were recorded, which translated, after a generous roundup from Gainbridge, to over $99,000 raised. The funds raised were then distributed to each team’s non-profit organization of choice.
“For Gainbridge to team up with Briana Scurry and to come to Jacksonville and Debs to make a near-$10,000 donation from all the saves this year, it’s incredible,” said Bret Lasky, Sr. Director of Sponsorship Marketing and Content for Group 1001. “The coolest thing for us is that we work with these really amazing athletes and these amazing leagues, but then the community impact work and to know that every market in the Gainbridge Super League is getting a near-$10,000 check for a deserving organization is fantastic.”
The Corner at Debs Store, a sustainable and affordable grocery store in Jacksonville’s historic eastside, has been the epicenter of education regarding the lack of access to healthy and nutritious foods available to the greater Jacksonville area. The donation by Sporting JAX will assist with providing affordable options for the community, along with a unified goal of supporting every member in the area through health education.

“Now that we’ve been here for a year, we’ve met so many people,” Sporting JAX goalkeeper Kaitlyn Parks added. “We’ve learned that playing a sport can not only just inspire our youth and our kids and other girls out there, but it can also inspire a whole community.”
Sporting JAX kicks off their second season in the Gainbridge Super League on August 15 against Fort Lauderdale United.
