At least six of seven home matches to be aired locally

Sporting Club Jacksonville (Sporting JAX) will air six of seven home games in the 2026 Gainbridge Super League fall season locally on WJXT Channel 4 or WJCW CW17.

Among the games to be aired is Saturday’s home opener against Tampa Bay Sun FC, scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff. All Gainbridge Super League games are streamed nationally on Peacock.

“Sporting JAX is building something special in Jacksonville, and we are pleased to partner with the club to continue its growth,” said Terri Cope Walton, Vice President and General Manager for WJXT-TV/WCWJ-TV. “Just as News4JAX is focused on our local community, so is Sporting JAX, and we can’t wait to see how the women’s team performs in the fall season.”

In addition to the six home match broadcasts, WJXT Channel 4 also airs the club’s weekly show, The Sporting JAX Report, every Saturday. The show can also be seen on the stations of First Coast News.

“Our partnerships with local TV stations are vital to the success of Sporting JAX,” club president Pat Waters said. “We look forward to bringing the women’s games to northeast Florida and southeast Georgia on Channel 4 and CW17.”

Veteran broadcaster Cole Pepper will be joined in the booth by former Florida Gators’ head coach Sam Bohon, with Emerson Burris reporting from the sidelines.
