Sporting JAX forward returns to international duty

Sporting Club Jacksonville (Sporting JAX) announced that forward Ahmad Al-Qaq earned a call-up to the Palestine Men’s National Team to participate in international friendly matches.

Al-Qaq is no stranger to international honors, having played with the squad last year in 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification matches. The current stint includes friendlies against New Zealand, who appeared in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, on Thursday, September 24 and Tajikistan on Monday, September 28.

Al-Qaq has made 20 appearances in Sporting JAX’s inaugural USL Championship season, with 10 of those being starts. He has recorded three goals and an assist, producing one of the season’s most exciting moments when he scored the game-winning goal versus Lexington SC in stoppage time earlier this month.
