Sporting JAX is proud to support a pair of great initiatives at our Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, November 22. We’re encouraging fans to join us in supporting those who protect our freedom by donating care package items that will be sent to military personnel overseas, along with a canned food drive to support Feeding Northeast Florida.
MILITARY CARE PACKAGES
Items to donate include non-perishable snacks, toiletries, playing cards and more. Please refer to the graphic for a comprehensive list of all recommended items.
Fans can bring their items to the match on Saturday, November 22 and drop them off at the Sporting JAX tent in UNF Lot 18. Our team will be there to assist.
We also encourage anyone participating to write a note of encouragement and gratitude for their service to our nation. These will be included in the care packages when sent.
CANNED FOOD DRIVE
Additionally, Sporting JAX is excited to partner with Feeding Northeast Florida for a canned food drive at our match on November 22. As we approach the holiday season, fans are encouraged to join us in donating non-perishable canned food items to help support its mission to nourish our community.
The drop-off location will also be at the Sporting JAX tent in UNF Lot 18. You can also support Feeding Northeast Florida’s mission by donating online.
