Ashlyn Puerta brings her experience as a midfielder and forward all the way to the East Coast. Before her collegiate and national team debuts, Puerta trained with NJ/NY Gotham FC, and was the U-16 National MVP of the Girls Academy League in 2022. She was invited to both the U-16 and U-17 U.S. Women’s Youth National Team, and recorded five goals and three assists in the 2022 CONCACAF Girls U-15 Championship.

At Florida State University, Puerta played in all 21 games during the 2024 season, tallying four goals and five assists. Puerta has proven her knack for nail-biting moments, whether in a game- winning goal or putting up points during the NCAA Tournament. With this midfielder/forward playing, the frontline for the Sporting JAX will be the one to beat.
