Ashlyn Puerta brings her experience as a midfielder and forward all the way to the East Coast. Before playing for one year at the collegiate level, Puerta played on an MLS Next team, trained with Madrid CFF, Benfica, and Gotham FC. She has also been invited to the U15, U16, U17, U18/U19, and U20 US National team camps. Puerta represented the US in the 2025 U20 CONCACAF and was a 2022 U15 CONCACAF champion.

At Florida State University, Puerta played in all 21 games during the 2024 season, tallying four goals and five assists. Puerta has proven her knack for nail-biting moments, whether in a game- winning goal or putting up points during the NCAA Tournament. With this midfielder/forward playing, the frontline for the Sporting JAX will be the one to beat.
