Hailing from Chester, England, midfielder Jacob Evans is ready to bring the vision to the Sporting JAX pitch. With over 6,500 minutes tallied on the pitch for MLS Next Pro teams, Evans brings a dynamic mixture of professional experience and method. Before his professional career started, Evans spent collegiate time at both UNC Wilmington and the University of St. Thomas where he played in 72 games, scored 24 goals, and tallied 17 assists while earning namings to the Top Drawer Soccer and College Soccer News Teams of the Week in 2021.

With Evans in the middle during this inaugural season, Sporting JAX will have a strong mind and veteran experience backing them up on the pitch.
