Julia Lester is making her way back to her home state and some familiar faces. At the University of Florida, Lester became well acquainted with Becky Burleigh, Alan Kirkup, and Parker Roberts before entering into her pro years.

Her club time with Tampa Bay United 97 Premier led to a 2015 US Youth Soccer U-17 national championship and a footstep into the Florida Olympic Development Program where she was a four-year member. Lester’s professional career has resulted in 37 tackles won with many more to come. This gritty defender will bring experience and prior chemistry to the Sporting JAX backline.
