Before making her collegiate debut, Kaitlyn Parks was creating big expectations for herself at Northern High School. She was the starting goal keeper for four consecutive years and earned six varsity letters, with four being in soccer and two in track and field. She was nominated to multiple teams and led her school to the 3A State Championship as a senior.
Parks’ collegiate career put those expectations to the test, and she exceeded them all. Her stats at Wake Forest and Michigan State combined to a 44-17-9 record with 70 starts in 71 games, and 6,229 minutes in net. Multiple nominations to All-Big Ten teams puts Parks as a top goal keeper, and with her knowledge and skill, Sporting JAX will have a strong netminder watching over the pitch.
