Exclusive luncheon presented by Ascension St. Vincent’s to spark citywide support for women’s pro soccer
Sporting Club Jacksonville is calling on the region’s business community to rally behind a new era in local sports history. Presented by Ascension St. Vincent’s, the Sporting JAX Kickoff Business Luncheon will take place on Wednesday, August 13, at 11 a.m. at the WJCT Sound Stage.
This exclusive event offers a unique opportunity for business leaders, entrepreneurs and professionals to connect, collaborate and be part of the movement reshaping Jacksonville’s sports scene. Attendees will hear from keynote speaker Briana Scurry, legendary Olympic gold medalist and U.S. Women’s National Team goalkeeper, along with remarks and appearances by Sporting JAX leadership, players and coaching staff.
The luncheon will also provide insight into how businesses can align with the club’s inaugural season in the Gainbridge Super League, a USL property, and introduce the Sporting JAX Business Alliance as a new platform to engage with and support Jacksonville’s first women’s pro sports team.
“Sporting JAX is not only a soccer club, but a rallying point for our community pride and economic growth,” said Steve Livingstone, president and CEO of Sporting JAX. “We invite the business community to help build something lasting that elevates women’s sports and brings our city together.”
Seats are $30 per person, which includes a three-course lunch and two tickets to club’s historic inaugural match on Aug. 23 at UNF’s Hodges Stadium. To register, visit www.sportingjax.com/luncheon or call (904) 863-5425.
